Please note that starting Monday, June 3rd, we have implemented ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology in our car parks. Additionally, new time restrictions will be introduced to better manage traffic flow and optimise parking usage. Our car parks will continue to be FREE for our shoppers.

Monday to Saturday 05:30 – 20:00 = 4 hours stay
Monday to Saturday 20:00 – 00:00 = 90 minutes stay
Monday to Saturday 00:00 – 05:30 = 40 minutes stay

Sunday

07:00 – 17:00 = 4 hours stay
17:00 – 05:30 (Monday) = 40 minutes stay

Please see our Q&A section below for further information:

Where will the ANPR cameras be located?

The cameras are located at the entrances and exits to each car park.

Where do I find information about fines?

On-site signage will display all relevant information. Failure to comply with the terms & conditions of parking will result in a £100 Parking Charge Notice (£60 if paid within 14 days of issue).

What are the rules on returning?

The majority of our car parks have always offered a FREE 4-hour stay with a 2-hour non-return rule during the daytime; this has now been extended across all of our car parks along with a change in the evening stay times. Listening to those who regularly visit the centre on and off during the day, we can confirm that we have now reduced the 2-hour non-return period to only 30-minutes. We hope that this will help those who were concerned about incurring fines if they visit the centre regularly during the daytime (especially relating to those who use the car park for school drop off/pick up). Please bear with us while we continue to review all feedback.

How will this affect the EV charging area?

If you are charging your car in the EV charging area, the time limit does not apply.

When Jetts Gym opens, how will this affect gym users?

Gym users will be able to add their registration number to a machine at the gym reception to extend their parking time.

What should I do if I work at Chineham Shopping and need to park for more than 4 hours?

Your Manager has been sent information about the staff parking scheme. Please ask your Manager for more information.
